Hi, I’m Maria—founder of Footprint Sustainability and a firm believer that business can be a powerful force for good. I’ve spent my career helping businesses lead with impact and integrity.
For the past decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of sustainability and business, helping brands build strategies that are impactful, credible, and rooted in long-term value. My background spans in-house leadership roles and consulting across a wide range of sectors—from outdoor apparel to consumer goods.
I bring expertise from the “in-house” perspective on all things impact; from sustainability strategy development, to climate target setting, to earning high-value certifications, producing annual impact reports, and everything in between.
I lead Footprint independently, but am supported by a trusted network of experts across sustainability, business strategy, and marketing. You'll work directly with me, with the flexibility to bring in the right collaborators for your unique goals—offering you personalized support without the overhead of a large agency.
I’m based in small-town Boulder County, CO, but I’ll always carry a bit of East Coast energy—PA raised, grounded in nature, and inspired by the work of building a better future.
